Les Carnaval De La Lune

June 12th, 2021 - The Carnaval De La Lune was held at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles.

In the last four months I was asked to help begin creating characters, backstory, as well as imagery and aesthetics .

This show was a labor of love, and truly blossomed into a creative endeavor full of magic and mystery.

From the vendors, to the actual property itself - Witches Brew (Jacqueline) and I collaborated and made this thing happen!

I am so grateful for the patrons, the cast, the dj, all the crew who helped keep things flowing and moving, and most importantly to the Goddess Selene.

Before we did this show, I actually asked her to help us stay in alignment with what needed to happen, and what would give us the best possible outcome.

While we did face adversity, and a few things that were out of our control - we still made three SOLD OUT shows pop off! The patience and professionalism of our crew and cast was absolutely outstanding.

There’s an interview response from our producer Jacqueline that made me teary eyed, and again, SO grateful to have been a part of this event, and it reads:

Witches Brew is a mix of all of the beautiful interests that reside within our minds, witchcraft, brews, the Victorian era, horror, etc. It was a way for us to build a community for our friends and spirit workers to share their craft with the world. We started out with a small pop-up in 2019 at Boomtown Brewery and since then we’ve put on a number of pop-ups and haunt experiences across Southern California. We linked up with Zachariah the Witch back in 2019 for our first The Raven Societea tea party event, and have been inseparable ever since. Zachariah is a staple of any Witches Brew immersive event and we are so fortunate to have been able to work with him on a number of online and in-person events over the last two years.
