The Black Moon - April Fool's Day & Intention Setting
Hello Magical Creatures,
Here we have arrived in the month of April. On “All Fool’s Day”.
This day throughout history has comprised of folly, jokes, pranks, and the like.
In the journey of the Tarot, the Fool is lucky, tempestuous, and bold. Starting new adventures without a map, and walking toward the edge of a cliff with as much hope as a naive child who believes in fairy tales.
Fantasy and reality have merged quite a bit lately - these times we live in, not too much about life has been ‘funny’. Has it?
Without writing too much about politics and global affairs, I will offer this advice.
Take care of YOU. In every sense and manner.
You deserve safety, peace, and resolve.
There are many things out of our control right now, and sometimes we have to be at peace with that.
That being said, we are on the day of the New Moon, which marks a good time to set intention and purpose for the next 28 day cycle. (29.5 days to be exact).
This month of 2022 we will also see a black moon, which is the time when two new moons occur in one month, on April 30th.
Also called a ‘dark moon’ or ‘Lilith moon’.
I have said this in the past, but:
I am not an astrologer, yet being psychic and sensitive, I can feel the buildup of energy in this time is potent, and I advise you to see, hear, smell, taste, and dream of what you wish to manifest during this time.
Put fresh goals and plans in action with a set plan of steps to execute along your path.
New Moon Practices:
Get or give yourself a reading via divination -( if you want to book a reading with me, please see the scheduler on my website main page.)
Write about goals, plans, visions coming to you in the next month.
Garden or tend to plants around the house, ushering new life and health.
Make lists, not just ordinary ‘to do’ lists, but that IS a great place to start!
Clean your altar or ritual space
Bless your home, or living areas
Give up something for a few weeks, with the purpose of coming back to it with more care, concern, and passion.
Today, I have journaled the following affirmation that I wish to share with you:
I am stepping through new doors, and closing the old ones that limit who I am meant to be.
Every decision, conversation, or thought I have leads me to the perfect place that I belong."
