Walking Through a Desert -
When walking through our journey, fully aware and receptive to the lessons of our paths, is to be human at its best…
Continuing to walk forward.
Continuing to face the mirror.
To face the mirage of self limiting beliefs.
To be a person of good moral fiber, compassion, and character, while facing an immense desert, is an alien quality of human beings.
Yes, at least it seems so.
👽
We are equipped both physiologically and psychologically to have empathy and sympathy for others.
Yet we seem to wander, and deceive ourselves in thinking otherwise.
- look around you.
Listen to the pulse of the world.
We can no longer hide behind our fears.

“There's a crisis in the United States today, that too many of us have lost the sense of collective responsibility for our neighbors,” —Rabbi Jill Jacobs.
.
I’m always looking at ways to help do my part in reducing my carbon footprint.
Assist where I can safely in homelessness and food/water issues. Or support local shops, creators, and artists.
Every year I try to donate clothing, and give monetary contributions I can afford around holidays and other milestones… but with how intense things are around the globe it just doesn’t feel like enough..
Does it?
Yes, I do know that collectively- if we ALL continue to “do our part” , hold others accountable, and strive for everyone to have a piece of the pie- we get closer and closer..
Because we are doing it together.
Days like today, and tumultuous years after the ones We’ve witnessed though; it seems pretty bleak.
.
I’m grateful for my health and safety.
I wish I could wave a magic wand and spread the same basic human rights to billions of people out there.
I really do.
.
I accept the road that lies before me.
I hope I can do enough along the way to make a difference.
I hope we all can.
.
So,
Let’s do better please…
I think a lot of us are treating the world and each other -like shit..
🤍
Please don’t be a piece of shit.
